An example of the schedules of the weekend retreat

Many weekend retreats begin at 7 pm on a Friday night and conclude on the middle part of Sunday. There are some weekend retreats that charge this way: course fees plus accommodation for 2 nights. Many weekend retreat packages would include the meals.

Activities during weekend retreats

Weekend retreats give time to the person to allow the release of the innermost stresses and even fatigue. In theory, this would pave the way for the person to a higher level of consciousness and this would in turn give the person added clarity (purpose in life and others) and energy. In this retreat, the attendees would get instructions on yoga, breathing techniques, and other relaxing exercises.

All persons attending the weekend retreats would get their own designed programs so that they can enjoy these experiences and learn new methods in the simplest way. Some misguided folks think that, in a weekend retreat, a participant would do meditation all day long and would just eat once a day. This is a common misconception. In many retreats, catering is provided for. The menu would complement whatever kind of program the hosts have prepared.
